Refund, Cancellation and Payment Policy

I understand that trips get canceled, plans change, and life happens!  In those cases…

Pet Sitting

  • If canceled seven (7) or more days in advance, there is no charge; if you have made a payment on your pet sitting, you will receive a 100% refund.

  • If canceled between three (3) and seven (7) days in advance, you will be charged a 20% cancellation fee. If you have made a payment, you will receive an 80% refund.

  • Cancellations within two (2) days will incur a 100% charge and no refunds.


Dog Walks
If you need to cancel a walk, please notify me 24 hours in advance of the scheduled walk; otherwise payment is due for the time originally agreed upon.

Concierge Services
If you need to cancel concierge service(s), please notify me 24 hours in advance of the scheduled service; otherwise, payment will be due for the originally agreed-upon amount.

Payments
Payment is due one month from invoice date. Any balances or credits resulting from added or canceled visits will be applied to the next month’s invoice.

A Walk in the Park Today accepts cash, check, Venmo or PayPal.  There will be a $25.00 charge for all returned checks.
